Our sponsorship is service in radio communications and coordination for the parade.
The parade takes place February 3, 2018.
We need as many club members as possible to assist with this community event.
NORAC volunteer meet-up will be at 6:30 AM at the Vernon Denny's (32nd St/Hwy 97) for breakfast... or at 8 AM at the parade marshalling tent across the street from Seton Secondary (2701-41 Ave). The parade assembly area will be along 27th Street between 39th Avenue and 43rd Avenue.

Remember to fully charge your HT just before the event and bring an extra battery if you have one. Ensure that you have the VHF simplex call frequency of 146.520 MHz as well as VE7RSS and VE7RIP repeaters programmed into your radio. Please dress for all possible winter weather conditions.
